Cheesesteaks Shut Out Revolution, 3-0
The home crowd had a good time watching the Boston Revolution and Philadelphia Cheesesteaks get after it.

Philadelphia registered a win at William Penn Park by beating the Boston Revolution, 3-0. Pitcher Tomás Quintero was one reason why the Cheesesteaks triumphed. Quintero, the winner, moves to 4-7. He threw 6 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 8 and giving up 1 walk.

In the top of the seventh, Stanley Bates stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Revolution were trailing 3-0, but had runners on 2nd and 3rd. That's when Horacio Méndez made a terrific pitch and Bates struck out. Gone was the dream of a Boston comeback.

Philadelphia is now 34-39.
