Glacier Bay and Iowa duked it out and the Ice Pirates came out victorious.

Good production from catcher Steve Clark helped the Glacier Bay Ice Pirates topple the Iowa Crop Circles, 5-2. Clark went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Ice Pirates. Wiley Prince was the winner. He's now 5-4. The loser was three-time All-Star Ted Duke.

José Rodríguez went 1-4. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Glacier Bay. The 26-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the fifth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Ted Duke. It was his 27th RBI of the season.

"Glad to go home with a win," said Rodríguez.

The triumph puts Glacier Bay at 39-35 for the season.
