Railbirds Get Hard-Earned Win
The St. Paul Bearers got a superb performance from pitcher Ronald Braun, but the Reading Railbirds still won the game, 8-7. Braun threw 5.2 innings allowing 2 runs. Gonzalo Martínez collected his 2nd save. The win takes Reading to 4-3.

Reading used the hitting of Carlos Rodríguez to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Railbirds on top, 8-7. For the game, Rodríguez had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
