Kass Torches Storm for 5 Hits
All game long, Vermont's Richard Kass was rattling the walls at Hot Box and banging out base hits against the West Island Storm. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Lake Monsters had a win, 13-3.

Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 29-year-old catcher said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this."

Richard Kass hit a solo-shot off Cliff Brown in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Shojiro Ageda in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Shojiro Ageda in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.

So far this year, Kass is batting .248 with 7 home runs, 36 RBIs and 27 runs scored.
