The West Island Storm went home winners at Falcons Field, thanks in large part to starter Ron Collins. Collins stifled the Newark Falcons, enabling West Island to grab the 7-1 win. The winning pitcher was Collins, now 8-4. He tossed 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 8. The Storm sit in last place in the Appalachian Coastal with a record of 32-44.

West Island took control in the top of the seventh. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Mao Qing hit a 2-run single to make it 3-1, Storm.
