Boston Bats Go Silent in 3-0 Loss
|
In a well-pitched game between the Reading Railbirds and the Boston Revolution, pitcher Juan Gallardo was fantastic. The Reading left-hander helped his team secure the win, 3-0. José Méndez closed it out for his 6th save. After today's action, Reading sits at 55-44, while Boston falls to 49-51.
Michael Cabrera had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth for Reading. He came through with a run-scoring double to put Reading in front, 2-0.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Cabrera told the Reading Citizen.
