Crop Circles Lose to Militia in Walk Off
Iowa third baseman Don McCormack had a good game, even if his team did not. The Crop Circles dropped a 5-4 decision to Michigan at Assembly Line Grounds. McCormack was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs. Dave Kennedy, credited with the win, is now 3-6. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit. Michigan is now 51-54.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Michigan trailing 4-3, James Brown hit a cutter from David Hodge for a 2-run home run, giving the Militia the walk-off win.

"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Brown.
