A good performance from third baseman Wesley Daniels helped the West Island Storm defeat the Havana Comrades, 7-3. Daniels went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Storm. With the win, the Storm sit at 54-50.

Kevin Wilkerson dealt the Comrades a blow in the bottom of the third. Batting with the bases loaded and West Island leading 1-0, Wilkerson, who is a three-time All-Star, hit a 2-1 cutter for a 2-run single.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Daniels told the West Island News. "It's as simple as that."
