The Richmond Ravens besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Cape Canaveral right fielder Johnny Dickshot by beating the Launch, 12-11, at Battle Field. Dickshot went 2-5 with 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Andrew Dougherty earned his 3rd save in 3 tries. Richmond is 4th in the Appalachian Southern with a record of 68-70.

Juan Guzmán, who finished 5th in the FR in triples with 8 in 2070, helped out the Richmond cause in the bottom of the eighth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the left fielder was 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks. He scored 2 times.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Richmond manager Jason Cary.
