Kuntz Hits 2 home runs in Diablos Win
With center fielder Rusty Kuntz leading the charge, the Mexico City Diablos defeated the Glacier Bay Ice Pirates, 3-2, at Corona Field. Kuntz, who is tied for 3rd in the FR in RBI with 94, was 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The victory gives Mexico City a record of 70-69.

Kuntz had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a first pitch cutter from Loren Sanders, he banged a solo home run to right-center, giving the Diablos a 3-2 lead. It was the 35th home run of the year for Kuntz.

"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said Mexico City skipper . "I can't complain."
