The home crowd had a good time watching the Boston Revolution and Iowa Crop Circles get after it.

The Boston Revolution went down to defeat to Luis Santiago Jr. and his Iowa teammates. The final score was 3-0 in favor of the Crop Circles. Santiago Jr. picked up the win for Iowa, going 7 innings. He gave up no runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 18-8. David Hodge recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 32 for 36.

The Crop Circles got a big at-bat from second baseman Don McCormack. For the game, McCormack was 1-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 28th double of the season gave Iowa a 2-0 lead.

"You can't take yourself too seriously," Santiago Jr. told the Iowa News. "But at the end of the day, we do play to win ballgames."
