Cheesesteaks Need Extra Innings to Top Revolution, 8-7
Fans watched the Philadelphia Cheesesteaks and the Boston Revolution fight to the finish.

The Philadelphia Cheesesteaks racked up a win at Jackie Robinson Place, bumping off the Boston Revolution, 8-7, in 10 innings. Mike Wolf, who started for Philadelphia, pitched effectively for his team. The win for the Cheesesteaks raised their record to 72-68.

Philadelphia used a timely hit from Pepe Acevedo to get the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Cheesesteaks ahead, 8-7. It might've been his only hit, but it did the trick.

In postgame remarks, Acevedo simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
