Walk-Off Seals 77th Victory for Ridge Raptors

The Redstone Ridge Raptors got a stellar performance from pitcher Chris Hall, who handcuffed the Mexico City offense en route to a win, 3-2, at The Raptor's Nest. David Maddux picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 4-12. Leroy Welch suffered the loss. The Ridge Raptors go to 77-67, putting them second in the Frontier Southern.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Redstone shortstop Rod Malone, facing Leroy Welch, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Ridge Raptors the 3-2 win.
"I was just taking it batter by batter, just enjoying the moment," said Hall.
