Cabrera Jacks Two Home Runs in 7-4 Reading Win
The Reading Railbirds defeated the Crab Apple Cove Mashers, 7-4, at Vargas Field today. Leading the charge for Reading was catcher Michael Cabrera. He was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. The save was credited to Ed Leibnitz, his 12th. The win gives Reading a season record of 86-63.

Cabrera had an important at-bat with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the top of the seventh, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Railbirds went on to win.
