The Iowa Crop Circles picked up a win at The Cornfield, courtesy of Fernando Farías. The right-hander helped his team stop the Laredo Border Jumpers, 1-0. The save went to Ted Morgan, his 6th this season. The Border Jumpers, now 4-10, continue their poor start.

Farías earned the win to move to 3-1. In his 8-inning performance, he scattered 3 hits, striking out 6 and walking 2. The right-hander allowed the Border Jumpers few scoring opportunities.

"Fernando set the tone with his ability to attack the hitters," said Iowa manager Andy Ward.
