Pedro Muñóz never let the High Tide get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Militia to a win, 6-0. Muñóz, the winner, moves to 10-8. He threw 5.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 1 walk. Roderick Pérez got the save, his 3rd in 4 chances.

Michigan used a well-timed hit by Tom Brown to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Militia ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Brown told the Michigan Herald.

The win lifted the Michigan record to 75-73.
