The Vermont Lake Monsters knocked off the Amarillo Chicken Haulers, 5-3, at The Chicken Coop. Robin Andrews was a big reason Vermont won. The first baseman went 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. Amarillo has now lost 5 in a row.

Andrews had a game-changing double in the top of the seventh. On a first pitch sinker from Michael Webster, he banged a run-scoring double to left-center, giving the Lake Monsters a 4-3 lead. It was the 44th double of the year for Andrews.
