Railbirds Victors, 5-3, at Iowa
Iowa center fielder Larry MacIntosh had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. MacIntosh was 3 for 4 with a home run, a triple, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3, even as Reading beat the Crop Circles, 5-3. Connor Kelloway picked up the win, lifting his record to 9-10 on the season. He struck out 8 and walked 3 in 6.2 innings, while yielding 2 runs. With the win, the Railbirds hiked their record to 86-75.

Reading used the hitting of Kevin Milligan to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Railbirds on top, 2-1. For the game, Milligan had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"This was a good win," said Milligan.
