Fans brought energy and enthusiasm to the Iowa Crop Circles home opener. Luis Santiago Jr. started for the home team against Sid Jackson for the Boston Revolution. The Crop Circles were unable to reward the home crowd with a win. The final score was 6-3, Boston. Sid Jackson, though, was impressive.

Boston used a clutch hit from Alfredo Becerra to get the win. The pinch hitter drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Revolution ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

Becerra attributed the win to his team's "hyper resolve."
