The Philadelphia Cheesesteaks got a stellar performance from pitcher Amado Ortíz, who handcuffed the Reading offense en route to a win, 7-2, at Schuylkill Landing Park. The win gives Philadelphia a record of 15-12.

Kyle Boggs, the 29-year old first baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Boggs contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Philadelphia up, 2-1.

"Amado made his pitches," said Philadelphia manager Joey Santangelo.
