The Mexico City Diablos picked up a win at Corona Field, dropping the Laredo Border Jumpers, 5-2. Andy Baker was the difference-maker. Laredo now has a record of 12-18.

The Diablos got a big at-bat from designated hitter Francisco Olivares. For the game, Olivares was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Mexico City a 3-1 lead.

"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Baker.
