Rum Runners Deal High Tide 4-3 Loss
Led by Dan Shirley, the Orlando Rum Runners defeated the Honolulu High Tide, 4-3. Shirley hit 2 home runs for the Rum Runners. The High Tide fall to 13-17 and continue to sputter in the early going.

Shirley had a game-changing home run in the top of the 13th. On a 2-2 curveball from Bobby Carey, he banged a solo home run to right-center, giving the Rum Runners a 4-3 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Shirley.

"We had a chance to win," said Honolulu manager Mark Sambor, "but we didn't get it done."
