Rum Runners Deal Ravens 6-3 Loss
|
Orlando Rum Runners starter Kenny Hecker was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Richmond Ravens, 6-3. Orlando, now 3-1, is setting the league on fire so far.
Orlando relied on the hitting of Robin Andrews to pick up the win. The first baseman ripped a 2-run triple in the top of the fifth inning to put the Rum Runners on top, 3-2. For the game, Andrews had 1 triple and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"When this team comes together and plays the way we can, we can compete with anyone," said Hecker. "I think we're going to keep proving that."
