Crop Circles Jolt Storm, 8-5, with Late Rally
Led by Rick Hall, the Iowa Crop Circles downed the West Island Storm, 8-5. Hall was 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs for the Crop Circles. Alberto Cota, now 2-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 2 innings. The Storm fall to 14-19 and continue their sputtering start to the 2077 season.

Iowa needed the clutch hitting of Miguel Lugo to seal the deal. The second baseman swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Crop Circles on top, 5-4. For the game, Lugo had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Lugo told the Iowa Chronicle.
