The Iowa Crop Circles beat the Crab Apple Cove Mashers, 6-2. Iowa pitcher and Palm Bay, Florida, native Leonard Johnston led the way. Iowa reliever Leonard Johnston got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Jeff Poe was tagged with the loss. Ted Morgan finished the game for Iowa and earned his 2nd save.

Regardless of the outcome, those who came to The Cornfield for the Frontier contest enjoyed being there.
