Reading Railbirds starter Avery Craig was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Boston Revolution, 2-1. The win belongs to Juan Gallardo in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Greg Payne took the loss for Boston. Reading has an impressive 28-11 record.

Robbie Ross was 2-3 with a double for Reading. The 29-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Greg Payne. It was his 2nd RBI of the season.
