Mashers Walk It Off for 16th Win of Season
The Crab Apple Cove Mashers got a magnificent effort from pitcher Kevin Underwood, who kept Alcatraz Island hitters in check en route to a 2-1 Mashers win at Vargas Field. The Mashers raised their record to 16-25.

The Mashers relied on third baseman Wesley Daniels for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the ninth, he delivered, hitting a solo home run to seal the deal.

"It was a solid team effort," said Underwood after the game.
