The Boston Revolution overcame a good performance by Alcatraz Island shortstop Steve Decker to knock off Alcatraz Island, 10-7, at The Rock. Decker went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. The winner in relief was Peyton Jones. He is now 1-0. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3 innings. Robert Moore earned the save, his 7th.

Gil Bass came through for Boston with a solo home run in the top of the eighth. The shortstop went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and collected 1 RBI.
