The Alcatraz Island Jail Break overcame a pretty good performance by Philadelphia center fielder Steve Baker, beating the Cheesesteaks, 9-4, at The Rock. Baker was 2 for 2 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times. Eric Peterson came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 2 hits in 2.1 innings. His record now stands at 2-3. Alcatraz Island is 26-18 and Philadelphia, with the loss, 26-18.

Alcatraz Island catcher Kyle Workman helped the Jail Break go up, 4-2, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Workman hit a 2-run single off Philadelphia pitcher Javier Martínez.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Workman.
