Revolution Absorb 8-4 Loss at The Cornfield
The Iowa Crop Circles besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Boston left fielder Harvey Turner by beating the Revolution, 8-4, at The Cornfield. Turner went 3 for 4 with 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The Crop Circles are now 18-25.

The Revolution had been locked in a 4-4 tie with the Crop Circles going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 27-year old shortstop Víctor Martínez came to the plate. Martínez hit a 2-run double on a 2-0 fastball from Boston hurler Aaron Jackson. It was Martínez's 5th double of the year.

In comments to the Iowa Today, Martínez insisted that he's not as disinterested as it often appears. "Haters will hate," he added.
