The Michigan Magicians extended their winning streak.

Gordon Ziersch was masterful in helping the Michigan Magicians take down the Amarillo Chicken Haulers, 5-1. The winning pitcher was Ziersch, now 4-4. He tossed 6.1 innings of 2-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 9.

The Magicians got a big hit from designated hitter Mark Olvera. In the bottom of the sixth, Olvera smacked a 2-run triple off Amarillo pitcher Severus Snape. It was his 3rd triple of the season. Suddenly, the Magicians were ahead, 2-1.

Said Amarillo manager James Walker: "We weren't able to do much."

The wins continue to add up for Michigan. The latest makes it 7 in a row.
