Reading and Mexico City duked it out and the Railbirds came out victorious.

The Reading Railbirds picked up a win at Corona Field, knocking off the Mexico City Diablos, 5-2. Starting pitcher Avery Craig played a key role in the triumph. With the win, Reading raised its record to 33-21.

Harvey Gregg, the fan favorite , had a direct impact on the outcome. Gregg contributed a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put Reading up, 5-0.

Gregg told a Reading Citizen reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
