Ridge Raptors Come Back Late to Top Cheesesteaks, 9-5
The Redstone Ridge Raptors faced a tough opponent in Philadelphia pitcher Matt Barraclough, but did just enough to pull out the victory at The Raptor's Nest by a final score of 9-5. Barraclough went 6.2 innings and allowed 1 run. The Ridge Raptors improved their record to 31-21 by beating Philadelphia.

The game was at a stalemate until center fielder Alfonso Alejándrez came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Philadelphia pitcher Maurice Reid, he hit a first pitch fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Redstone on top, 6-5.

"I like the vibe in the clubhouse after a win," said Alejándrez. "It sure beats the alternative."
