Mexico City turned a good effort from starter Peter Gill into a win over the Glacier Bay Ice Pirates at Liquor Luge. The final score was 7-2. By defeating Glacier Bay, the third-place Diablos improved to 32-25.

Mexico City won the game in part because of Soup Campbell. The first baseman ripped a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Diablos ahead, 6-0. For the game, Campbell had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.
