Michigan picked up a win at Assembly Line Grounds, bumping off the Keg Creek Coyotes, 4-2. Pitcher Pedro Muñóz was a major reason the Militia emerged victorious. Muñóz, the winner, moves to 4-4. He threw 6 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 7 and giving up 1 walk. Juan Solís earned save number 4 this season.

The Militia benefited from an error in the bottom of the fourth inning. Michigan was leading 2-0 when Kevin Bailey hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put Michigan in front, 4-0.

"Bottom line," said Keg Creek skipper Jay Kunstler, "we didn't play well enough to win."

At 27-30, the Militia claim third place in the Appalachian Northern.
