In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.
Pitcher Carlos Caro was sensational for the Reading Railbirds in his team's 9-0 triumph over the Iowa Crop Circles. Caro picked up the win, and it was well-earned. Caro got the win, improving to 4-5. He allowed 3 hits and walked 1 over 6.1 innings. Caro allowed no runs.
Greg Taylor, who finished 4th in the FR in on-base percentage with .416 in 2065, chipped in for Reading with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.
