Ridge Raptors Earn 3-1 Road Win Over Glacier Bay
|
The Redstone Ridge Raptors downed the Glacier Bay Ice Pirates, 3-1, at Liquor Luge. Foster Miller led the way, going 2-for-3 for Redstone. The win belongs to Ken Byrd in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Tomás Chávez took the loss for Glacier Bay. Redstone has now won 3 in a row.
With Redstone leading 2-1 in the top of the fifth, Miller hit a curveball from Tomás Chávez for a solo home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Ridge Raptors ahead, 3-1.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Miller.
