Mexico City and Alcatraz Island duked it out and the Diablos came out victorious.
Alcatraz Island first baseman Tom Brown was sensational. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Mexico City beat the Jail Break, 6-3. With the win, the Diablos sit at 34-26.
Eric Ward aided the Mexico City cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the shortstop went 2-3 with 2 doubles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
Ward told the Mexico City Times: "I was born for the big stage."
