High Tide Clip Ridge Raptors, 3-2, in POTD Championship Series Contest

Dan Hanna was not about to watch an opponent celebrate a championship on his home field.
The right-hander pitched the Honolulu High Tide to victory at Champagne of Beers Field, staving off the Redstone Ridge Raptors, who remain one game away from a title. Hanna threw 6.1 innings allowing 2 runs. The win cuts the series deficit for the High Tide to 3-2 in the best-of-7 series.
With scoring opportunities rare, the High Tide had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the fourth, when catcher Derrick Hawkins hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Gerald Tynsdale and made the score 3-1, High Tide. Hawkins was 2-3 with a double.
Hawkins called the win a testament to his team's "tenacity."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Champagne of Beers Field in Honolulu.
