Reading Wins at Home to Take 2-1 Lead in POTD Championship Series
The Reading Railbirds got a strong performance from pitcher Carlos Caro, who stymied the visiting West Island Storm en route to a win, 5-1, in Game 3 of the Round 4 today. The Storm could never get a bead on the right-handed Caro, who threw 7.2 innings of 3-hit ball. The Railbirds now hold a 2-1 in the best-of-7 series.

In his 101-pitch effort, Caro allowed 1 run on 3 hits over 7.2 innings. He walked 2 and struck out 7.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Caro.

The next game is set to be played for Saturday, November 1st , 2070 at Hot Box.
