Storm Need Extra Frames to Get Past Revolution
The West Island Storm beat the Boston Revolution, 5-3. West Island pitcher and The Woodlands, Texas, native Jaime De La Cruz led the way. West Island reliever Tad Hughes picked up the win, raising his record to 4-2. Ed Leibnitz was tagged with the loss. With the win, West Island has a record of 35-31. Boston falls to 35-31.

West Island won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With one out and Ed Leibnitz on the mound for Boston, first baseman Francisco Olivares hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Storm fans to their feet.

"This place went bonkers at the end," De La Cruz said.
