Ridge Raptors Deal Revolution 6-3 Defeat
|
Redstone pitcher Javier García did his part in helping his team beat the Boston Revolution, 6-3. The left-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. The victory gives Redstone a record of 41-30.
Redstone used a clutch at-bat from Manny García to capture the win. The right fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Ridge Raptors ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"I take a professional approach to my job," said García. "I've been around this game for a while."
