Jones Selected AP's #1 Rookie Friday, May 1st , 2071 A sparkling 2-0 mark in April just about says it all. First-year phenom Josh Jones of the Newark Falcons put up a strong performance and that's why the Appalachian rated him the Rookie of the Month. He stood out by holding opposing clubs to a .212 batting average and compiling a 1.86 ERA. Jones struck out 8 and walked 4 in 9.2 innings. |
