Mashers Center Fielder Martínez Injured Sunday, July 23rd, 2051 Crab Apple Cove center fielder Ryan Martínez left today's game with a fractured finger. The injury looked like it occurred being hit by a pitch in the game against Mexico City. One fan said, "As soon as it happened, you could tell something was wrong." The injury will likely leave the Mashers without Martínez for about 6 weeks. In 98 games this year Martínez has posted a .275 average and put up these numbers: 18 home runs, 51 RBIs and 48 runs scored. |
