Alvin Jackson Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year Wednesday, July 7th , 2077 The Minneapolis Maulers and their fans were rocked today by the news that star third baseman Alvin Jackson would miss the rest of the season due to injury. Jackson was hurt in a recent game against the Michigan Magicians while running the bases. He was immediately removed from the game and taken for examination. Tests today revealed the injury was a ruptured achilles tendon. His doctors think that Jackson will miss about 5-6 months. Jackson on the season is batting .265 with 12 home runs.
