Ibarra Hits in 30 Straight Games Tuesday, July 25th, 2062 The hot bat of Aces shortstop Juan Luis Ibarra continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 30 games after he went 1-for-3 in today's 6-2 loss to the Monuments at Trump Stadium. "I'm trying not to think about it much," he said later. "I don't want to mess with whatever zone I'm in." Juan Luis Ibarra flied out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, was hit by a pitch in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. For the season Ibarra is currently batting .385 with 11 home runs and 82 RBIs. In 98 games he has reached base at a .424 rate and scored 86 runs to date. |
