AP Player of the Week Named Monday, September 22nd , 2070 The top batter in the Appalachian last week was Manuel Costa, who batted .611 and towered above everybody with a 5-game hitting barrage. During the week Costa banged out a .611 batting average (11-for-18), 2 home runs, 4 runs batted in and scored 4 runs. Today the Amarillo first baseman received the AP Player of the Week Award. In 2070 Costa has hit at a .293 clip with 158 hits, 33 home runs, 92 RBIs and has scored 63 times. |
