After going 4-1 in September, the 35-year-old Atlantic City hurler has been named Appalachian Pitcher of the Month. He fanned 36 in 38 innings, logged an ERA of 1.42 and allowed opponents to hit .227 against him. In 31 starts this season, Brown has picked up 15 wins while suffering 11 losses. He has pitched 192 innings, allowed 181 hits, struck out 176 and posted a 3.09 ERA. |
