Jail Break Win Round 2 Wednesday, October 15th , 2070 The fans in Alcatraz Island are celebrating the Jail Break victory over the Laredo Border Jumpers in the Round 2. They defeated the Laredo Border Jumpers 6-2 in the finale played at The Rock to capture the series 4-1. Vicente Méndez was chosen the series' Most Valuable Player. The Jail Break first baseman batted .444, drove in 3 runs and scored 5 runs in the series. "The Border Jumpers are a good club and I don't mean any disrespect to their pitching staff, but things just felt easy this series," Méndez said. "Everything at the plate seemed right." The Alcatraz Island Jail Break don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Philadelphia Cheesesteaks - Reading Railbirds series.
