Amador and Washington Extend Contract Tuesday, November 20th , 2074 Washington fans celebrated as word of a signing became reality. Gilberto Amador won't be pulling up stakes anytime soon, as he has signed a 6-year extension at a pay rate of $22,325,330 per annum. Since he is widely seen as an integral part of the club, Washington officials had to keep Amador from jumping ship. A check of his lifetime stats shows Amador has a career .313 average with 1797 hits, 362 doubles, 124 triples, 216 home runs and 892 RBIs. To date he has scored 1014 runs, walked 1024 times and stolen 297 bases. |
