Richmond Sweeps into the Round 2 Friday, October 6th, 2062 It's a sweet sweep for the Richmond Ravens and they have won the Round 1. The Atlantic City Aces were not able to keep pace with the Ravens and dropped the series in short order, losing 3-2 in the deciding game. "This wasn't really the effort we hoped for," said Atlantic City manager Chris Stephan. It's now on to the Round 2 for Richmond after their 4-0 series win. Leading the way for the winners was first baseman Alfredo Gutiérrez, who was named MVP. For the series, Gutiérrez hit .545 with a .625 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Richmond Ravens don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Keg Creek Coyotes - Newark Falcons series.
